Kai H. Lim
Professor, Department of Information Systems
Kai Lim is a Professor of Information Systems at
City University of Hong Kong. He is currently serving or has served on
the Editorial Boards of Management Information Systems Quarterly
(MISQ), Information Systems Research (ISR, starting January 2008),
and The Journal of the Association for Information Systems
(JAIS).
He received his Ph.D. from the
University of British Columbia, Canada. Prior to joining CityU, he
was on the faculty of the
Weatherhead School of Management,
Case Western Reserve University and the
University of
Hawaii.
Kai has engaged in executive training in Beijing,
Hong Kong, and Shanghai. He has won numerous teaching awards, including
CityU's 2002/2003 Teaching
Excellence Award, and is one of the
top-ranking teachers teaching in the CityU's EMBA program and the IS
Department.
Kai Lim's research centered on the behavioral and
managerial aspects of Information Systems. Currently, he is studying
eCommerce-related adoption issues, human-computer interactions,
knowledge management, and cross-cultural issues related to information
systems management. His work has appeared in some of the most prestige
IS journals, including Information Systems Research, Journal of
Management Information Systems, and Management Information
Systems Quarterly.
