Aloha!  We are pleased that your paper has been accepted to the Thirty-Ninth Hawaii  International Conference on System Sciences
(HICSS-39).  These are the steps that you need to take between now and actually making your presentation at the conference.


                                                *** Special alert for Authors requiring Visas***

                        If you need a visa to enter the United States, please start the process immediately,
                                as these procedures often take up to 3 months. If you need an invitation letter,
                                            email the HICSS Conference Office hicss@hawaii.edu


 

1.  SUBMIT YOUR FINAL PAPER & COPYRIGHT FORM

                    September 10 - Conditionally Accepted papers must be uploaded

                    September 15 - All Accepted papers must be uploaded

                         Copyright forms must be faxed to 360-734-9715

 
2.  REGISTER FOR THE CONFERENCE 

                        *** Author Registration required by September 15  ***

A Conference Registration form is found on our web site, and was included in a printed Advance Program Announcement mailed in June to previous attendees. Online Registration form is also linked from our web site (see above address). 

 

3. MAKE YOUR HOTEL RESERVATIONS & TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS

Reservation forms for the Hyatt Regency Kauai, the Sheraton Kauai, and condo opportunities, as well as information about Hawaii and our Alamo/National rental car specials may be found on our web site (see above address). 

 

It is your responsibility to be aware of all cancellation policies for
conference registration and hotel reservations. 
There are penalties and deadlines in every case.

 

4.  DETERMINE YOUR AUDIO-VISUAL NEEDS.

A Data Projector/Beamer & Screen will be provided for every presentation. If you need anything other than that, please fax an AV Request Form found as a Word Document on our web site to 808-956-5759 or email to hicss@hawaii.edu by December 1.  Please coordinate with your co-presenters or minitrack chairs so that we receive only one request per session.  (Some Minitrack Chairs request for their entire minitrack.)
