The annual HICSS conferences provide a forum for the interchange of ideas, research results, development activities and   applications among academicians and practitioners in the information, computer, and system sciences.   HICSS-37 consists of advanced seminars, tutorials, open forums, task forces, plenary lectures, a distinguished guest lecture, and formal presentations.

Accepted manuscripts emphasize advances in research and development activities in several areas of the system sciences. Awards for the Best Papers, carefully selected by a review committee in each track, are presented at a banquet and award ceremony on the last night.  Presentations may be theoretical, conceptual, tutorial, or descriptive in nature.  Submissions undergo a peer referee process. Papers selected for presentation at the conference will be published in the HICSS-37 Conference Proceedings.  Submissions must not have been previously published.

HICSS participants always enjoy a high degree of interaction and discussion, as the meetings occur in an informal workshop-like setting.  Registrants are expected to attend the entire conference week, and to fully engage in these discussions.  HICSS is funded entirely by registration fees.  All participants and speakers are expected to have their organization bear the cost of  their expenses and registration.  There are no discounted fees.

HICSS Proceedings are published and distributed by the IEEE Computer Society Press.  See  http://computer.org/cspress
