Congratulations on having your paper accepted to the Thirty-Seventh Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS-37). Final acceptance is conditional upon submission of the final draft of your paper to your Minitrack Chair (if changes have been requested). With your Minitrack Chair's approval, please submit the final paper and a Copyright Transfer form (see Step #3 below), by September 30, and register at least one author for the conference by October 1, 2003.
The Proceedings will be published and distributed by the Computer Society Press of the IEEE and listed in its publication brochures. You must follow the IEEE Proceedings Guidelines and their deadlines to ensure that the Proceedings are ready for distribution at the Conference in January.
There are 5
steps you must complete by 5 pm Pacific Time
Wednesday, October 1
1.
Prepare your paper for inclusion on the CD-Rom of the Proceedings, according to the
Formatting Guidelines. Please note that papers cannot exceed
10 pages and must be single-spaced, double-column. (sample
of your paper format)
2.
Prepare your abstract for inclusion in the printed Abstract book. Use
Word, no other format. (See book sample for
specific instructions.)
You must use the filename code that your minitrack chair
has supplied you with adding the letter ”A” at the end of the code to denote
“Abstract” (i.e., CLALN01A.doc)
3.
Submit your file(s) to the publisher, following specific instructions for
uploading the file containing your formatted paper and the
file containing your abstract.
4.
Fax the Copyright Form to Lorretta Palagi at IEEE +1-360-734-9715. (You must print the Copyright Transfer Form
during the paper submission process.) Note:
Before faxing be sure that your paper number/Filename Code is clearly on the
paper. Either type or print clearly all information, as requested; no
cursive handwriting, please.
5. E-mail a copy of your submitted paper to your Minitrack Chair.
If you are unable to submit your paper via the website, please contact icpsupport@redshift.net for assistance.
We strongly suggest that you register
at the
conference hotel
by October 1 as well. When you register for the conference, we will email you a
confirmation notice that will contain the Group/Convention Code needed to
reserve your hotel room via the Hilton Waikoloa Village website. While there
are other hotels within driving distance of the conference venue, this time of
year is very popular in Hawaii and other accommodations may be scarce. We have
reserved a specified number of rooms at the Hilton, and once that limit is
reached, neither space nor the conference rate is guaranteed.
We also encourage you to make your airline and
car
reservations early because they too may become scarce.
