Identification System for the Police

The aim of our project is to make used of wireless communication techonlogy to help the Police force (or other organization) for retreiving information at a remote place more easily and effectively. By using the technology, they can retreive the citizen's Identification Card (ID Card) information by key-in the ID number using WAP-enabled phone or Palm Pilot. On the other hand, the workload of the call centre can be reduced as the tremendous access in every minute from the hundred thousands Police in HK.

Apart from replacing a part of the functionality of the Police's call centre, our system can deliver some function which cannot now. Our system can deliver the citizen's photo (now, for Palm Pilot only) and a Message Deliver System can deliver some news for an individual or a group of Police.
